# Settings

> Choose which Rynse emails you receive — card events, incidents, and mobile wash updates.

**Settings** controls the email notifications Rynse sends to your inbox. Open it at [app.gorynse.com/settings](https://app.gorynse.com/settings).

Every notification is optional — turn on as many or as few as you need.

<Note>
  **Notifications are per-profile.** Each user sets their own. Turning one on for yourself doesn't turn it on for teammates — they each have to enable it on their own Settings page. This is usually why a colleague isn't getting an email you expected them to.
</Note>

## Email Notifications

Tick the ones you want, then click **Save Settings**.

### Fleet and card notifications

These cover your Rynse cards and the transactions on them. If you have cards, we strongly recommend turning on **Incident**.

<Card title="Card Status Change" icon="credit-card">
  Sent when a card is activated, deactivated, frozen, or closed — a paper trail of every status change.
</Card>

<Card title="Card Order" icon="truck">
  Sent when a card order ships and again when it's delivered. Handy during onboarding or when rolling out cards.
</Card>

<Card title="Incident" icon="triangle-exclamation">
  Sent whenever a card transaction is declined — wrong category, spend cap, schedule, or merchant restriction. The one most card customers want on.
</Card>

<Tip>
  **Turn Incident on if you have cards.** You'll get an email the moment a Rynse card is declined, so you can chase the driver or adjust the policy right away.
</Tip>

### Mobile wash notifications

These appear only if your organization has mobile wash enabled. If you don't see them, you're not signed up for mobile wash — skip this section.

<Card title="Wash Complete" icon="circle-check">
  Sent when a mobile wash finishes — confirmation the work happened. Tick **Requester Only** alongside it to limit these emails to washes you requested yourself, instead of every wash across your organization.
</Card>

<Card title="Service Reminder" icon="bell">
  Periodic reminders about upcoming or recurring mobile wash service.
</Card>

## Saving your changes

Click **Save Settings** at the bottom. A green confirmation message means it saved, and changes apply right away — the next event emails you based on your new preferences.

<Warning>
  Saving only affects *your* profile. To roll a preference out across the team, have each user enable it themselves. There's no account-wide toggle.
</Warning>

## Who typically enables what

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Card customers (pay-as-you-go or unlimited with cards)">
    At minimum, turn on **Incident**. Many also enable **Card Status Change** and **Card Order** for a paper trail.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="LPR-only customers">
    No cards in your program, so the top three won't fire. Most LPR-only customers leave Settings empty.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Pure-membership customers (no cards, no mobile wash)">
    None of these apply — usage shows up on your monthly invoice. Skip this page.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Mobile wash customers">
    **Wash Complete** is the "done" confirmation — pair it with **Requester Only** if you only want the washes you requested; **Service Reminder** helps coordinate drivers and yards.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Finance or admin users">
    These notifications are operational, not financial — most finance users leave them off and rely on the **Invoices** page and the monthly billing email.
