If you run your fleet in Fleetio, Rynse connects to it so your vehicles and wash activity stay in sync — no double entry.
When your organization is connected, a blue Synced with Fleetio banner appears above your vehicle list. Fleetio is your system of record — make vehicle changes in Fleetio, not by emailing support, and they flow into Rynse automatically.

What you get

Vehicle sync

Your Fleetio vehicles (all of them, or just the ones you mark for your wash program) flow into Rynse automatically. Add, edit, or retire a vehicle in Fleetio and Rynse stays current — you manage your fleet in one place.

Wash history in Fleetio

Every completed wash is pushed back to Fleetio as service history, so each vehicle’s record shows when and where it was washed.

Total cost of ownership

Because wash costs land in Fleetio alongside fuel and maintenance, your cost-of-ownership per vehicle includes washing automatically.

Get connected

Setup takes about 10 minutes on your side. You’ll create an API key and send us two values through a secure link. We handle the rest.
Rather we set it up? Add support@gorynse.com as a temporary Administrator user in Fleetio, then email us. We’ll set up your vehicles and wash logging for you. You’ll still create the API key yourself (steps 1–2) so it keeps working after you remove our access.
Before you start:
  • Your Fleetio account is on a Professional or Premium plan, which Fleetio requires for API access.
  • You’re signed in to Fleetio as an Administrator or the Account Owner.
An API key can see and do exactly what the person who created it can. If a user with limited access creates the key, Rynse will miss any vehicles that user can’t see. Create the key from an Administrator account.

Create an API key

In Fleetio, open your account menu and go to Settings → Manage API Keys. Click + Add API Key, label it Rynse, leave the API version as it is, and click Save.Your new key appears in the Token column. There are no permissions to set. The key uses your Fleetio access.
Fleetio’s own guide has screenshots of each click: Create an API key. Using a key just for Rynse means you can revoke it without affecting your other integrations.

Find your Account Token

On the same page, scroll down to Account Tokens. The short code next to your account name is your Account Token. We need it together with the API key.

Choose which vehicles to sync (optional)

By default, all your Fleetio vehicles sync to Rynse. To sync only some of them, add a checkbox to mark the ones in your wash program. Go to Settings → Custom Records → Vehicle and click + Add Field:
  • Data Type: Checkbox
  • Label: Wash Program (spell it exactly like this)
Then check Wash Program on each vehicle you want in Rynse. You can do this one vehicle at a time, or all at once with Fleetio’s custom fields import.
Once you’re using Wash Program, only checked vehicles stay in Rynse. Unchecking a vehicle archives it in Rynse at the next sync.

Choose how washes are logged (optional)

By default, each wash is added to the vehicle’s service history with:
  • Service task: Vehicle Wash. If you already have this task, we use it. If not, we create it.
  • Vendor: Rynse
  • Reason for Repair: 08 Preventive Maintenance
This works even if your account requires a Reason for Repair (Settings → Maintenance Settings).Want something different? When you email us, include the names exactly as they appear in Fleetio:
  • Service task: listed under Service → Service Tasks
  • Reason for Repair: listed under Settings → Service → Reason for Repair Codes

Send us your credentials securely

Email support@gorynse.com to let us know you’re ready. We’ll reply with a secure link. Paste your API key and Account Token into that link, not into the email.
Treat your API key like a password. Never send it in a regular email, chat message, or screenshot.

After you’re connected

We’ll confirm once the connection is live. Your vehicles appear in Rynse after the first overnight sync. From then on, completed washes are posted to each vehicle’s service history in Fleetio.
Your Fleetio groups become your Rynse facilities. Each vehicle is placed in the facility that matches its Fleetio Group. If no facility with that name exists yet, we create one.
Add, retire, or archive the vehicle in Fleetio. If you use Wash Program, check or uncheck it instead. Rynse picks up the change at the next overnight sync.
To stop the connection immediately, revoke the key in Settings → Manage API Keys. If you create a new key, email support@gorynse.com and we’ll send a new secure link.
